The T.W. Andrews Red Raiders held off the visiting Ben L. Smith Golden Eagles volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Red Raiders now have a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lexington for a non-league test on Monday, August 22. T.W. Andrews will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Parkland (Winston-Salem, NC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-0.
The Golden Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Thomasville (Thomasville, NC). The Bulldogs enter the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Thomasville was nudged by Trinity (Trinity, NC), 3-0, in a non-league test.
