Michigan High School Volleyball - Utica tips L'Anse Creuse

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Utica Chieftains (Utica, MI) and the host L'Anse Creuse Lancers (Harrison Township, MI), saw Utica's volleyball squad hold off L'Anse Creuse by a final score of 2-1.

Next up, the Chieftains battle the Port Huron Big Reds (Port Huron, MI) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, August 17. Utica will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record.

With the loss, L'Anse Creuse drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Cousino (Warren, MI) to battle the Patriots in a non-league match on Wednesday, September 7. The Patriots come into the match with a record of 0-0.
