Ohio High School Football - Calvert tips Mohawk

August 17, 2023: Sycamore, OH 44882

The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Calvert Senecas (Tiffin, OH) and the host Mohawk Warriors (Sycamore, OH), observed Calvert's football squad edge Mohawk by a count of 14-12.

The Senecas now own a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Monroeville for a non-league contest on Friday, August 25. Calvert will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 27-7 non-league win over Lakota (Kansas, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.

Coming up next, the Warriors encounter the Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains (Bascom, OH) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 25. Mohawk will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Chieftains go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 36-19 non-league win over Carey (Carey, OH).
