The McKinley Red Dragons topped the visiting Howland Tigers football team by a final score of 35-14 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, McKinley improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Red Dragons travel to Alliance (Alliance, OH) to confront the Aviators in a non-league outing on Friday, August 25. The Aviators go into the outing with a record of 1-0. Alliance won 12-7 in their recent non-league outing against Lake (Uniontown, OH)

With the loss, Howland moves to 0-1 on the season. The Tigers host Poland Seminary (Poland, OH) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Friday, August 25. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 1-0. Poland Seminary won 38-6 in their recent non-league outing against Salem (Salem, OH)
