The West Stokes Wildcats football team (King, NC), was beaten 30-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Community School of Davidson Spartans (Davidson, NC)

The Spartans (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Cabarrus Stallions (Kannapolis, NC). The Stallions come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Cabarrus Stallions was beaten by Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC), 18-12, in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Randleman for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 24. West Stokes will meet a Tigers team coming off a 30-16 non-league win over Thomasville (Thomasville, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 1-0.
