North Carolina High School Football - Providence Grove overwhelms East Davidson

The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Providence Grove Patriots (Franklinville, NC) and the visiting East Davidson Golden Eagles (Thomasville, NC), observed Providence Grove's football squad bounce East Davidson by a tally of 37-2.

The Patriots now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop McGuinness for a non-league contest on Thursday, August 31.

Coming up next, the Golden Eagles play the Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 24. East Davidson will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
