The South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC) football defeated the host West Bladen Knights (Bladenboro, NC), 35-6 in Thursday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Stallions face the South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, August 24. South Columbus will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Cougars enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 41-26 non-league loss to Richlands (Richlands, NC).
The Knights (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC). The Eagles enter the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, East Bladen lost by North Brunswick (Leland, NC), 21-6, in a non-league bout.
