The Watauga Pioneers thwarted the host T.C. Roberson Rams football team by a count of 30-22 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, Watauga upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Pioneers host Maiden (Maiden, NC) to encounter the Blue Devils in a non-league outing on Thursday, August 31. The Blue Devils go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Maiden lost 8-0 in their recent non-league outing against Foard (Newton, NC)

With the loss, T.C. Roberson moves to 0-1 on the season. The Rams travel to East Rutherford (Forest City, NC) to encounter the Cavaliers in a non-league outing on Thursday, August 24. The Cavaliers go into the outing with a record of 0-0.
