The Triton Hawks football team (Erwin, NC), was ripped 34-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC)
The Vikings (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Northwood (Pittsboro, NC). The Chargers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Northwood was ripped by Riverside-Durham (Durham, NC), 20-12, in a non-league challenge.
The Hawks now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Johnston for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 24. Triton will meet a Trojans team coming off a 38-20 non-league win over Fike (Wilson, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 1-0.
