Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Screaming Eagle confront the Coastal Christian Centurions (Wilmington, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 18. Ashley will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Centurions enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 league loss to Topsail (Hampstead, NC).

The Bulldogs now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Wallace-Rose Hill for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 22.
