Georgia High School Volleyball - St. Pius X Catholic can't hold off Pope

In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Pope Greyhounds volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions.
The Greyhounds (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against River Ridge (Woodstock, GA). The Knights come into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, River Ridge was edged by Roswell (Roswell, GA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
With the loss, St. Pius X Catholic drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Golden lions host Cambridge (Milton, GA) to battle the Bears in a non-league contest on Wednesday, August 23. The Bears come into the contest with a record of 0-2.
