The Griffith Panthers soccer team (Griffith, IN), 3-0 in Thursday's non-league outing with the visiting Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN)

With the win, Hanover Central advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Lowell (Lowell, IN) to play the Red Devils in a Northwest Crossroads outing on Monday, August 21. The Red Devils go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Lowell lost 5-1 in their recent non-league outing against Wheeler (Valparaiso, IN)

In their next game, the Panthers play the Andrean Fighting 59ers (Merrillville, IN) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, August 19. Griffith will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Fighting 59ers go into the outing with a 1-0 record after their 1-0 league win over Highland (Highland, IN).
