Next, the Trojans confront the Bullitt Central Cougars (Shepherdsville, KY) in a District 23 challenge, on Monday, August 21. Southern will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 0-0 non-league Bullitt East (Mt. Washington, KY).

The Raiders now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Valley for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 22. Iroquois will confront a Vikings team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Western (Louisville, KY). The Vikings record now stands at 0-2.
