In Thursday's non-league contest, the North Rock Creek (Shawnee, OK) softball team overwhelmed the host Fort Gibson Tigers (Fort Gibson, OK), by a margin of 11-3.
With the triumph, North Rock Creek moves its record to 11-5 on the year. The travel to Mannford (Mannford, OK) to play the Pirates in a non-league contest on Monday, August 21. The Pirates come into the contest with a record of 9-5. Mannford won 10-1 in their recent non-league contest against Hominy (Hominy, OK)
In their next game, the Tigers play the Muldrow Bulldogs (Muldrow, OK) in a 4A District 5 contest, on Friday, August 18. Fort Gibson will attempt to move on its 5-11 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 9-8 record after their 8-3 league win over Sallisaw (Sallisaw, OK).
