Oklahoma High School Softball - Paoli loses to Verden

The Verden Tigers softball team scored 23 runs and limited the host Paoli Pugs to 0 in the Tigers league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Verden improves its record to 12-1 on the year. The Tigers travel to Fort Cobb-Broxton (Fort Cobb, OK) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Friday, August 18. The Mustangs go into the battle with a record of 11-9. Fort Cobb-Broxton lost 8-0 in their recent league battle against Elmore City-Pernell (Elmore City, OK)
The Pugs now possess a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Asher for a Class B battle on Monday, August 21. Paoli will meet a Indians squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Porum (Porum, OK). The Indians record now stands at 4-3.
