Indiana High School Volleyball - Lake Central tips Andrean

August 17, 2023: St. John, IN 46373

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) and the visiting Andrean Fighting 59ers (Merrillville, IN), saw Lake Central's volleyball squad nip Andrean by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Lake Central upgrades its record to 2-4 on the year. The Indians travel to Valparaiso (Valparaiso, IN) to play the Vikings in a Duneland bout on Tuesday, August 22. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Valparaiso lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Hammond Bishop Noll (Hammond, IN)

The Fighting 59ers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to NorthWood for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 19. Andrean will play a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Mishawaka Marian (Mishawaka, IN). The Panthers record now stands at 2-0.
