The Blum Bobcats volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Castleberry Lions to 0 in the Bobcats non-league victory on Thursday.

The Bobcats now have a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Midlothian Heritage for a non-league game on Thursday, August 17. Blum will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to North Forney (Forney, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-7.

The Lions (0-9) will now prepare for their game against Whitney (Whitney, TX). The Wildcats enter the non-league game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Whitney dropped by Valley Mills (Valley Mills, TX), 3-2, in a non-league game.
