The Buna Cougars volleyball team (Buna, TX), went down 2-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Liberty Panthers (Liberty, TX)

The Panthers (4-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Cleveland (Cleveland, TX). The Indians enter the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record.

Next, the Cougars encounter the Silsbee Tigers (Silsbee, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 18. Buna will attempt to move on its 9-5 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Chester (Chester, TX).
