The Lamar County Trojans held off the visiting Callaway Cavaliers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Trojans now have a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Upson-Lee for a non-league test on Thursday, August 17. Lamar County will confront a Knights team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Tattnall Square Academy (Macon, GA). The Knights record now stands at 2-3.
The Cavaliers (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA). The Knights enter the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Upson-Lee was nudged by Tattnall Square Academy (Macon, GA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
