North Carolina High School Volleyball - Piedmont Classical tips College Prep & Leadership Academy

August 17, 2023: Jamestown, NC

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Piedmont Classical Bobcats (Browns Summit, NC) and the host College Prep & Leadership Academy Royals (Jamestown, NC), saw Piedmont Classical's volleyball squad nip College Prep & Leadership Academy by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Piedmont Classical upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Bethany (Summerfield, NC) to play the Wolves in a Northwest Piedmont 1A bout on Tuesday, August 22. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Bethany lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Cornerstone Charter (Greensboro, NC)

The Royals now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Ben L. Smith for a non-league bout on Monday, August 21. College Prep & Leadership Academy will play a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Reidsville (Reidsville, NC). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 2-0.
