North Carolina High School Volleyball - East Wake Academy over Oxford Prep

In Thursday's non-league contest, the East Wake Academy Eagles (Zebulon, NC) volleyball squad were winner over the host Oxford Prep Griffins (Oxford, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Eagles battle the Neuse Charter Cougars (Smithfield, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 18. East Wake Academy will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC).

With the loss, Oxford Prep moves to 1-1 on the year. The Griffins travel to Kerr-Vance Academy (Henderson, NC) to battle the Spartans in a non-league contest on Monday, August 21. The Spartans go into the contest with a record of 0-0.
