With the win, Fairview upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Bath County (Owingsville, KY) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 19. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Bath County won 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Burgin (Burgin, KY)

The Lions now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Menifee County for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 22. Elliott County will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Estill County (Irvine, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-2.
