Texas High School Volleyball - Lufkin can't hold off Splendora

In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Splendora Wildcats volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Lufkin Panthers.

The Wildcats (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Lufkin (Lufkin, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 7-5 record. In their last battle, Lufkin nudged Hallsville (Hallsville, TX), 3-2, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Kilgore Bulldogs (Kilgore, TX) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, August 17. Lufkin will attempt to advance on its 7-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 3-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Harmony (Big Sandy, TX).
