The Manteo Redskins volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Northside - Pinetown Panthers to 0 in the Redskins non-league victory on Thursday.

The Redskins now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ayden - Grifton for a non-league game on Monday, August 21. Manteo will confront a Chargers team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over South Central (Winterville, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 2-0.

The Panthers (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Bear Grass Charter (Williamston, NC). The Bears enter the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Bear Grass Charter gained a win over Washington (Washington, NC), 3-2, in a non-league game.
