Texas High School Volleyball - Sherman tips Whitewright

August 17, 2023: Sherman, TX 75090

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Sherman Bearcats (Sherman, TX) and the visiting Whitewright Tigers (Whitewright, TX), saw Sherman's volleyball squad nip Whitewright by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Sherman upgrades its record to 2-7 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Callisburg (Gainesville, TX) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, August 18. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 4-2.

The Tigers now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to S & S Consolidated for a non-league bout on Friday, August 18. Whitewright will play a Rams squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Howe (Howe, TX). The Rams record now stands at 7-4.
