The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Weiss Wolves (Pflugerville, TX) and the visiting Poth Pirates (Poth, TX), saw Weiss's volleyball squad beat Poth by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Weiss upgrades its record to 11-2 on the year. The Wolves host Lake Belton (Temple, TX) to play the Broncos in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 17. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Lake Belton lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Salado (Salado, TX)

The Pirates now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to St. Stephen's Episcopal for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 17. Poth will play a Spartans squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over East View (Georgetown, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 3-1.
