The Yoakum Bulldogs topped the visiting Round Top-Carmine Cubs volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs now have a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Joseph for a non-league test on Friday, August 18. Yoakum will confront a Flyers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Shiner (Shiner, TX). The Flyers record now stands at 9-0.
The Cubs (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Edna (Edna, TX). The Cowboys enter the non-league game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Edna dropped by Burton (Burton, TX), 2-0, in a non-league game.
