Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the North Valleys Panthers (Reno, NV) and the visiting Faith Lutheran Crusaders (Las Vegas, NV), saw North Valleys's soccer squad hold off Faith Lutheran by a count of 2-1.
The Panthers (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Fernley (Fernley, NV). The Vaqueros enter the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Fernley was edged by Southeast Career Tech (Las Vegas, NV), 8-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Crusaders battle the Reed Raiders (Sparks, NV) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 17. Faith Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Raiders enter the battle with a 1-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Doral Academy Red Rock (Las Vegas, NV).
