The Mountaineers (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Pikeville (Pikeville, KY). The Panthers enter the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Pikeville was edged by Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY), 5-1, in a league battle.
