In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Big Pasture Rangers softball team scored a tight 6-5 win over the Calumet Chieftains.

The Rangers (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Waurika (Waurika, OK). The Eagles come into the non-league match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Waurika was nipped by Walters (Walters, OK), 5-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Chieftains battle the Ninnekah Owls (Ninnekah, OK) in a non-league match, on Monday, August 19. Calumet will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record.
