Chamblee Bulldogs (Chamblee, GA) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host North Gwinnett Bulldogs (Suwanee, GA), 13-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Chamblee improves its record to 4-0 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Woodward Academy (College Park, GA) to play the War Eagles in a 5A Region 4 game on Tuesday, August 20. The War Eagles enter the game with a record of 2-2.

The Bulldogs now hold a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Wesleyan for a non-league game on Saturday, August 17. North Gwinnett will play a Wolves squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over St. Pius X Catholic (Atlanta, GA). The Wolves record now stands at 4-0.
