The Chickasha Fighting Chicks (Chickasha, OK) softball routed the visiting Community Christian Royals (Norman, OK), 8-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Fighting Chicks now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Anadarko for a 4A District 3 challenge on Monday, August 19. Chickasha will play a Warriors squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Navajo (Altus, OK). The Warriors record now stands at 3-3.
The Royals (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Crooked Oak (Oklahoma City, OK). The Ruf-Nex enter the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Crooked Oak was routed by Lexington (Lexington, OK), 17-1, in a league challenge.
