Woodstock Wolverines (Woodstock, GA) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Gordon Lee Trojans (Chickamauga, GA), 8-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Woodstock improves its record to 3-4 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Hillgrove (Powder Springs, GA) to play the Hawks in a non-league game on Saturday, August 17. The Hawks enter the game with a record of 5-1. Hillgrove won 16-0 in their recent league game against South Cobb (Austell, GA)

The Trojans now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Armuchee for a 1A D-I Region 7 game on Tuesday, August 20. Gordon Lee will play a Indians squad coming off a 8-5 non-league win over North Murray (Chatsworth, GA). The Indians record now stands at 3-3.
