In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Hominy Bucks softball team scored a tight 7-4 win over the Ripley Warriors.
The Bucks (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Kellyville (Kellyville, OK). The Ponies come into the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Kellyville was routed by Beggs (Beggs, OK), 10-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Frontier Mustangs (Red Rock, OK) in a non-league match, on Thursday, August 29. Ripley will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record.
