The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Toombs County Bulldogs (Lyons, GA) and the visiting Jeff Davis Yellowjackets (Hazlehurst, GA), observed Toombs County's softball team get by Jeff Davis by a tally of 4-0.

The Bulldogs (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against Wheeler County (Alamo, GA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 3-2 record. In their last bout, Wheeler County tipped Montgomery County (Mt. Vernon, GA), 19-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets clash with the Brantley County Herons (Nahunta, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 1 bout, on Tuesday, August 20. Jeff Davis will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record.
