With the triumph, Pope improves its record to 6-1 on the year. The Greyhounds host Woodstock (Woodstock, GA) to play the Wolverines in a 5A Region 6 game on Tuesday, August 20. The Wolverines enter the game with a record of 2-4. Woodstock lost 6-2 in their recent non-league game against Hillgrove (Powder Springs, GA)

The Longhorns now hold a 5-4 record. They play next when they host South Forsyth for a 6A Region 6 game on Monday, August 19. Lambert will play a War Eagles squad coming off a 18-4 non-league loss to Loganville Christian Academy (Loganville, GA). The War Eagles record now stands at 1-9.
