In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Non Varsity Tournament Opponent volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Albany Lions.
The (6-31) will now prepare for their challenge against Glenn (Leander, TX). The Grizzlies enter the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Glenn was tipped by Non Varsity Tournament Opponent (, ), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lions meet the Eastland Mavericks (Eastland, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 20. Albany will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record.
