Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Bowie Volunteers (Arlington, TX) and the visiting Connally Cadets (Waco, TX), observed Bowie's volleyball team top Connally by a count of 2-0.

The Volunteers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Trimble Tech (Fort Worth, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Trimble Tech was knocked off by Hanks (El Paso, TX), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Cadets battle the Live Oak Classical Falcons (Waco, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 20. Connally will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record.
