Texas High School Volleyball - Bridge City edged by Livingston

Livingston Lions (Livingston, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Bridge City Cardinals (Bridge City, TX), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Livingston improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Lions travel to Woodville (Woodville, TX) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 20. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 8-0. Woodville won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Orangefield (Orangefield, TX)

The Cardinals now own a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kelly Catholic for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 20. Bridge City will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Harker Heights (Harker Heights, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
