In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Iola Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Coldspring-Oakhurst Trojans.
The Bulldogs (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Anderson-Shiro (Anderson, TX). The Fighting Owls come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Anderson-Shiro beat Mexia (Mexia, TX), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Trojans meet the Corrigan-Camden Bulldogs (Corrigan, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 17. Coldspring-Oakhurst will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Wortham (Wortham, TX).
