Texas High School Volleyball - DeSoto tips Longview

The DeSoto Eagles volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Longview Lobos to 1 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Cleburne for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 17. DeSoto will play a Yellowjackets team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Horn (Mesquite, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Longview drops to 5-3 on the campaign. The Lobos host Pleasant Grove (Texarkana, TX) to play the Hawks in a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 20. The Hawks come into the outing with a record of 8-2. Pleasant Grove won 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Lindale (Lindale, TX)
