The Marshall Mavericks tipped the host North Hopkins Panthers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Mavericks confront the Harmony Eagles (Big Sandy, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, August 17. Marshall will attempt to advance on its 6-4 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 3-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Elysian Fields (Elysian Fields, TX).
The Panthers (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Pittsburg (Pittsburg, TX). The Pirates enter the non-league game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Pittsburg held off Como-Pickton (Como, TX), 2-1, in a non-league game.
