In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Mayfair Monsoons volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the St. Anthony Saints.

The Monsoons (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Cabrillo (Long Beach, CA). The Jaguars come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Cabrillo was nudged by California Academy of Math & Science (Carson, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Saints play the Woodrow Wilson Bruins (Long Beach, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 20. St. Anthony will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Bruins come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 3-1 non-league win over La Canada (La Canada, CA).
