The Memorial Mavericks volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Panther Creek Panthers to 0 in the Mavericks non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Mavericks now possess a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Red Oak for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 17. Memorial will play a Hawks team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Keller Central (Keller, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, Panther Creek drops to 5-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Wilson (Dallas, TX) to play the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 20.
