Mississippi High School Volleyball - Tishomingo County over New Albany

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Tishomingo County Braves (Iuka, MS) and the visiting New Albany Bulldogs (New Albany, MS), observed Tishomingo County's volleyball team top New Albany by a count of 2-0.

The Braves (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Newton County (Decatur, MS). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 8-0 record. In their last contest, Newton County notched a victory over Petal (Petal, MS), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Bulldogs battle the East Union Urchins (Blue Springs, MS) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 20. New Albany will attempt to move on its 10-4 season record. The Urchins enter the contest with a 8-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Kossuth (Kossuth, MS).
