With the win, Nimitz advances its record to 5-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to Berkner (Richardson, TX) to face the Rams in a non-league test on Saturday, August 17. The Rams go into the test with a record of 2-0.

The Tigers now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ford for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 20. Terrell will face a Panthers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Lone Oak (Lone Oak, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.
