In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting San Gabriel Matadors volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Ramona Convent Tigers.

The Matadors (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Bishop Amat (La Puente, CA). The Lancers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Bishop Amat beat Covina (Covina, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary Cardinals (Montebello, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 20. Ramona Convent will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 3-1 league loss to St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA).
