The South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA) volleyball were victorious over the visiting Yerington Lions (Yerington, NV), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Vikings now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Livermore for a non-league bout on Friday, August 23. South Tahoe will clash with a Cowboys team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Liberty (Brentwood, CA). The Cowboys record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Yerington drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Coral Academy of Science - Reno (Reno, NV) to meet the Falcons in a 2A Northern challenge on Wednesday, August 28. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
