New Mexico High School Football - Sandia defeats Atrisco Heritage Academy

August 18, 2022: Albuquerque, NM 87110

In Thursday's non-league match, the host Sandia Matadors football squad scored a good 59-37 victory over the Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars.

In their next game, the Matadors clash with the Piedra Vista Panthers (Farmington, NM) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 26. Sandia will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 53-31 non-league win over Farmington (Farmington, NM).

The Jaguars (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM). The Ravens enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Rio Grande dropped by Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 37-0, in a non-league match.
