The Freedom Patriots football team (Morganton, NC), was tipped 34-28 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC)
The Chargers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Burns (Lawndale, NC). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Burns nipped Forestview (Gastonia, NC), 40-14, in a non-league challenge.
The Patriots now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Burke for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 25.
